When Speed Matters Most

What expedited freight is

Expedited freight is time-critical shipping dispatched on dedicated equipment that runs straight from pickup to delivery with no other stops and no transfers. Where standard freight is scheduled around a carrier's network, an expedited load is built around your deadline.

It is usually the right call when the cost of the freight arriving late is higher than the cost of moving it fast. A production line waiting on a part, materials due on site for an install, or an order that has to be on a customer's dock tomorrow.

LT2 arranges expedited capacity across the United States and Canada, from a single pallet in a sprinter van up to a full truckload, including hazmat shipments where the freight is regulated and the qualified carrier pool is smaller.

LT2 Logistics arranges freight across all 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, and Canada.
How an expedited load actually runs

You will know where your freight is

  1. A driver passing paperwork down from the cab of a tractor unit to a yard worker at a freight yard gate, as clouds break after rain.

Operating authority, insurance, and safety history, monitored on an ongoing basis rather than checked once. Carriers who do not meet the standard do not get the load.

Equipment

The right vehicle for the load

Tell us what is moving and when it has to arrive, and we will match the right equipment.

Sprinter Van

Direct, dedicated capacity for small, time-critical loads. Typically one to four pallets, moving from pickup to delivery with no stops in between.

Best For

  • Line-Down Parts
  • Critical Shipments
  • Single-Pallet Loads that should not go LTL
  • Door-to-Door

Box Truck

Mid-size dedicated capacity for loads too big for a sprinter van and too urgent to move as partial freight. Typically up to 12 pallets.

Best For

  • Multi-Pallet Loads
  • Time-Sensitive Freight
  • Liftgate Available
  • Regional Runs

Hot Shot Flatbed

Open-deck capacity for loads that do not need a full size flatbed but need to move faster than partial freight.

Best For

  • Time-Sensitive Freight
  • Smaller shipments that do not need full size equipment
  • Can be more budget friendly
  • More maneuverable if delivering to restricted space area

Expedited Tractor-Trailer

Full truckload capacity on an expedited run. The same 53 foot van space as standard freight, routed and tracked as an expedited load. Expedited tractor-trailers are harder to source than smaller equipment, so give us as much notice as you can.

Best For

  • Full Truckload
  • Event Logistics
  • Manufacturing
  • Temperature controlled

When it had to be there

When an expedited load doesn't arrive, we're shutting down an active job site and putting a customer relationship at risk. LT2 has been reliable and available, day in and day out.
